We passed through four states today on the way to Shenandoah National Park; Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia. We have bath supplies and Q-tips in a cute little Mickey Mouse tin and typical toiletries. I have fake tattoos with Minnie and Daisy on them. So cute and I can have a different tattoo every day! Fun!

Travel 30 miles down the Skyline Drive Road to Big Meadows campground. It is an older campground than Mathews Arm and not as nice. The campsites are more open and not as large. Hard to find a site to fit a 32 foot Motorhome! The one thing this campground has are showers which we dont use. We settle in and read for the afternoon then walk around the campground!
It gets windy and cold later so no fire tonight. Rains in the night!

There are warnings everywhere about not feeding animals and bear warnings and we figure SURE,, just like all the hundreds of Moose warning signs on the roads and we never saw one moose! We have lunch and go for a big hike where we go down about 1000 feet in elevation ...
We have had a few fun filled days here in Virginia. On Friday evening we went down to Washington DC with the Labries. We saw many monuments including: Washington Monument, WW2, Vietnam and Korean war memorials, the Martin Luther King Jr memorial, the Lincoln memorial and the Jefferson Memorial.
We also went into the national history museum.
