... Trading Post, a kind of theme park / stopping place. It was the most random place we have ever been. Highlights were: a Segway racetrack, a museum which seemed to be dedicated to old car batteries and gramophones (an obvious mix), live bear shows, and a working steam railway. We watched the bear show with mixed feelings. The warden came on and explained how the bears are all orphans that have been found injured and nursed back to health, how ...
... then got the clearance. Eventually, we got our clearance and set off to the north east.We were actually in the clouds for about the first 15 minutes, then between layers for another 20.

We started today with chats with our camp neighbors. They gave us some great info on roads to take and wished us well. Today we leave Vermont on our quest for Maine lobster.
The state is beautiful. The farms are sprawling and mixed with lots of lakes and rivers. I hope we continue to see more covered bridges.
ahhh...after a GREAT day riding...headed back to the US!!!
Rode for 5 hours...dropped the horses off in the pasture, untacked them, watched them roll in the dust, kick up their heels, neigh and whinny and run around the pasture, so happy to be free of us riders!
Headed down to the US....got scrutinized by the lonely US border agent....she actually went in the trunk ...
