Don't look down!
... sleeping gear to our tent site. That and there were some mosquitoes lingering around. Andrew pulled off a speedy set up and off we were to the Whistler Brew Pub. Have I mentioned yet that I'm starting to think this trip is becoming more of a beer tour than anything else. Since Calgary we've really gotten into sampling the local beers. (The maple beer at granville island has been my favourite so far!)

Bats, switch backs and alpine villages
... to our site. On the walk back a black bear came strolling out the estate about 10meters from on us walked across the road and into the forrest. It spooked me and Andrew a bit as we were camping about 1/2km away arghh. Its a good job we have the car to store all our food etc.. in, although this site does have bear nets. The rest of the walk back to the site we were singing the bearneseities to the bears in the hope they might not come eat us ha ha.

Vivacious Vancouver
... many whiskey and margheritas! On our last night we experienced the all canadian hockey game. We watched the vancouver canucks achieve their 4th straight extra time loss of the season to the number one team the Detroit Red Wings, but we thoroughly enjoyed the tight game and the atmosphere of being down close to the ice. Let it snow
... was pretty brief but exciting none the less, hopefully there will be plenty more where that came from.
We caught up on our e-mails and laundry then each had a bath making full use of the whirlpool and probably breaking it for the next guests by throwing a bath bomb from Lush in as well for good measure.
