I was excited to see central Washington as it's a place I'd never seen before. The drive from Seattle to Wenatchee was beautiful, driving along US2 was scenic and it was a gorgeous day. Wenatchee itself is much more industrial than I imagined, I assume its reputation as the apple capital of the world has something to do with that. ...

We found a double bridge and there were lots of bikies pulled up looking from one of the bridges. There was a seal eating a fish. The water was so clear you could see the seal swimming around.

We could only get photos from the car as we couldn't find a park anywhere. All the side streets for about 6 blocks were blocked off and they just had Bike displays, stalls selling stuff, Motorbike acrobats etc. It would have been a good day to don my leather chaps and jacket.
