Nice fairly sunny day start today. George did have some drooling on and off this morning but got better by the afternoon. Did run into a bit of snow on the sides of the roads going over the White Pass but mostly heavy rain on and off. Stopped at Randal for lunch at "The Cafe" which was a ...

... strange but will have that available next year. Border guard confessed that they were concerned about lamb and goat when asking about meat? He did discover my bacon but let me go without any problems. Got as far as Wenatchee around 5:00. Stayed at EconoLodge - very basic - fairly clean but allowed pets and was cheap - $55.00 with only $10 for George. Wouldn't recommend but was OK - breakfast very very basic and couldn't even eat the ...

... beautiful sights out over the water around all the islands.

We found a double bridge and there were lots of bikies pulled up looking from one of the bridges. There was a seal eating a fish. The water was so clear you could see the seal swimming around.

We stopped at a couple of other small towns and then headed off over the highway at Everett towards the Lower Cascades Route. We went past the Boeing factory in Everett. They have their own airfield ...

... car left. We ended up getting turned off the Bikie run and down the next street. The local people lined the streets to watch the procession of bikes. We could only get photos from the car as we couldn't find a park anywhere. All the side streets for about 6 blocks were blocked off and they just had Bike displays, stalls selling stuff, Motorbike acrobats etc. It would have been a good day to don my leather chaps and jacket. Nearly all the bikes were Harleys and ...
