The waters were not as rough last night as they had been yesterday. The fog is very think this morning. Kinda eerie really....just waiting for the them song from the Titanic to start playing. Lol We will be arriving in Victoria, BC shortly after lunch and will have until 9:00 p.m. tonight until we need to be back on the ship as we make our way back to Seattle tomorrow to disembark from the ship. ... Ariel in the new movie. It was cute to see one of the little Pelicans do a gymnastics routine too, such an adorable little boy. After the afternoon shift, we all had to help organize our kid zone closet so we cleaned and sorted our storage before we got to go into Victoria, BC. Jenna*, Addy*, Christa*, and I met up and we got to meet Jenna's* 'boyfriend’ since they are from Vancouver and he took the ferry to come meet her ...
... with two very loud accountants who ignore us for most of the five hours. Sadly the food on the train was just about as bad as the plane. But drinks were free so the accountants imbibed liberally we dare not already functioning poorly suffering jet lag. Fields of green and yellow -a patchwork quilt with the rail travelling through as we go up the east coast towards Edinburgh. Once in Edinburgh we find our accommodation easily and it is great. We also checked out the ferry times and fares at the terminal and to find out at what time next day to be there for check in.
We waved goodbye to Cody and Toad Lily next day around midday and made our way the few blocks down the hill to the ferry saying a mite wistfully to ourselves “well, cheers to the USA, not sure when or even if we’ll be back one day”. We didn’t realize then how wrong we would be!
... Admiral, which is in a good location on the Inner Harbor. You can walk to the main sites pretty easily. Our room is #302 and has a balcony where you can see the harbor. It also has free WiFi and a little kitchen. This makes Mom happy. Dad and I went out exploring and we checked out the waterfront, the Empress hotel ( another really fancy hotel right on the water). We also looked into a cool bookstore and a chocolate store ...
