    ... about the wildlife.

On arrival we dumped our bags in yet another Airbnb cabin (so far this has been a pretty good way of doing things although you don't get to meet other travellers which is a pity), headed out for lunch (I made the wrong choice but the beer was good yet again) and popped into the Whale Watching company to pay (US$420 - had to sit down) and have a chat with Chris from Balwyn. We started the day a little late this morning. After breakfast I do some cleaning then decide to also get some laundry done. It's Oralia's birthday today, I left her a voicemail message but silly me I didn't wish her a happy birthday, so while doing laundry I take advantage that I have some phone reception and text and call her. We didn't talk long as I am afraid the call will get dropped. Today is theme day at the park, the theme is Water Day. ...

... They need space. They need to hunt. So think of this when you see a captivated Killer Whale. Okay, I needed to get this off my chest, because they are really amazing animals. You all know I'm not the most environmentally driven guy in the world, but this really sucks.
Back to our Zodiac. These things have a twin Yamaha 225-engine. On full speed it goes about 45-50 kilometers an hour. Sure you did this on you cycle as a kid, but not on the open sea. It's ...
