... as old as the world pretty much. There were dinosaur trees, that date back to the dinos. Then the fun bit the swam. Wow it was so cool and something that is becoming very rare in NZ.

Headed off to Hast township and had the worst fish and chips in the world, they live by the sea we had frozen fish and French fries!! Ahhhhhhhh we were so looking forward to it. Oh well got into our camp site and cooked again as that food was little more than a starter. Chilled in ...

... stopped at cameron flats for the night a doc campsite.... for the past few nights robin has been woken by scratching gnawing and rustling...i wear ear plugs so no problem usually but last night there was a really loud gnawing and we were worried morris could gnaw through the electrics.. we had asked several times if morris would please go...our overnight stops have been just right for him to get off and enjoy new surrounds .we had ...

Stayed in Franz Josef yesterday, unfortunately weather was not kind, so we didnt see the glaciers at all.
Arrived in Wanaka today, and going to the famous cinema this evening. all is still pretty hectic, and we are looking forward to Queenstown where we will be 3 nights! finally we will be able to rest and properly unpack our bags !

Efter at være kommet godt foran med at køre, holdt vi en stille og rolig dag ved Lake Hawea udenfor Wanaka, hvor vi nød vejretog omgivelserne. Der blev også tid til at besøge Puzzeling World, som har en labyrint med 1,5 km gange, samt forskellige illusioner, som har givet nogle sjove ...

... Wahl war Wirtschaftingenieurwesen. Eine Kombination aus Maschinenbau, BWL und VWL. Klingt interessant.

Am Auto angekommen wurde es nun höchste Zeit. Gleich nach dem Verlassen des Parkplatzes gabelte ich noch einen Hitch Hiker auf. Er hatte gerade einen mehrtätigen Track hinter sich. Mit 4 Mann im Auto ging es nun wieder über die Schotterstraße zurück nach Wanaka. Als ich wieder vernünftigen Asphalt unter den Rädern hatte, war ich heil ...
