... multi-lane highway. There is an incident on the highway, with a car stopped in the middle lane. The bus stops too, and we watch a young man carrying the body of a dog across three lanes to deposit it on the sidewalk. The dog is obviously dead or dying from the size of the puddle of blood beside his head. The bus driver gets on the phone for a while, probably reporting the incident, before we carry on.

We had a wonderful flight over and arrived at Nic's Friday afternoon in lovely weather.

We made the trip across Canada without a hitch, but Toronto was experiencing a snow storm of 6 inches or so, and they were using only one runway. This was causing some delays and we were in a hold for 30 minutes before landing, we still made it close to schedule, landing at 4:30pm.

One thing we hate about Vancouver is the gridlocked traffic that we are stuck in no matter where we go or what time of day it is. The traffic is always a mess and so going almost anywhere is a pain.
