... Battie overlooks the harbour and town which are in a kind of a bowl. There are small islands between the harbour and the Atlantic. At risk of repeating myself again…it's gorgeous!

... Mary and I went inside to search for the gift shop. We found an almost bare room with four ladies trying to set up the gift shop. I bought a pin and a bottle of Vermont Maple Syrup and Mary bought a book. Because the cash register was not operating and there was no change, we traded money until we had everything paid for.
