Today is the day we separate ways from Debbie and Jim :( We enjoyed a nice breakfast of sausages, boiled eggs and some of the fresh bread and fruits we picked up at the Masstown Market. ... return to Texas for the winter. We could both see how many would want to live in Maine for the summer, but NOT in the winter. My brief stay in Brunswick while in the Navy in the mid 60's was enough for me. A cool place to visit, but wouldn't want to live here.

On Thursday, we gathered for our initial caravan orientation and the Bean Hole Bean dinner. The dinner consisted of the Bean Hole Beans (soaked dried beans, seasoned, with chopped bacon), grilled hot dogs, slaw, and a fresh roll – very good and so “comfort food”. For desert, we had a Good Texas sheet cake with a very chocolate icing – delicious!
