... for our trip so we looked toward Everett Navy base and we were able to see the ship. We decided to go toward the base and we stopped at Harborview Park and got a great view of the ship moving past us going out of port. VERY NEAT! Hard to believe it was a highlight of the trip and we had not even picked up Vern yet. The ship headed west so we went back to the Ferry port and out to the Lighthouse. ...

... the north end of the island isn't open until 1 August. Just a way to confuse people and fine them and get the state more money. They have more little rules than Maine does, and that is saying something.

Six million pink salmon expected in Puget Sound this year. The Indians get first crack at them I am told, outside Puget Sound with their gill nets.
