      The first leg of our flight was KC to Chicago on United. We flew in one of those idiotic little Embrayer planes. When we got to our second plane, we boarded on time and then sat and sat and sat...and finally deplaned because of a "bird strike".       Arrived at Hotel Hyatt River North at lunchtime and after consulting with Maria we decide to walk down Illinois St towards Navy Pier. Chicago looks great the streets are wide , the city looks clean and the sun was out with very light winds.
