... We had planned on spending the night there but since we were now on Pacific time it was only 12:30 so we pressed on to Washington State to stay at the Fam Camp at Fairchild AFB. So far Eastern WA has been a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, it reminds me of days spent in southwest OK and North Texas.
Heading out early tomorrow to press on ...

... And here we are a mile from the north entrance to Yellowstone. Our campsite overlooks the rolling yellow hills of Yellowstone. As we sat and enjoyed the view last night, we saw 2 elk meandering across the street, passing within feet of 4 pedestrians and without a care or concern walked up the hill in a residential area to nibble on some trees.

Today we are off to drive through Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Can't wait!

... at Seattle at 9:10 pm and went through the long process of collecting our things, standing up and waiting politely for everyone in front to get off first. The elderly Chinese man didn't get the message to wait for other passengers (since he had a wheelchair), but was intently trying to get his bag and long metal case (fishing rod? paintbrushes? precious family scrolls?) down from above. The mom across from me, who had been plenty busy keeping her girls occupied ...
