We loved our campsite at Hot Springs National Park. The week flew by quickly with hikes, trips to town and lots of campfires and new friends!

President Clinton's Arkansas
Leaving Louisiana, we noted that the elevation in the northern-most part of the state was 230 feet. No wonder there is so much water everywhere. As soon as we crossed into Arkansas the "swampiness" began to recede and the hills began to rise up. We already liked this visit to Arkansas.

Gardens, Tower and a Scenic Byway
... to the Anthony Chapel. I've always wanted to see it in person and it did not disappoint. It was unbelievably beautiful and I could have sat in there and took it in ALL DAY. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's apprentice Fay Jones with an "open air" design. Glass filled in the "open air" sections. It's by far one of my favorite things I've seen on this trip.
