    ... pools are original 1920's and look like they have changed very little over the years again they look a little ran down on the inside but this adds to the character (The outside has been repainted to give it some new life but as we found out some of the building on the inside is missing so we are not sure what happened to the building).     ... second unofficial tour guide of the day, a lovely old lady travelling on the bus with us. She was telling us about all the different stops and where was nice to go in Port Stephens, told us a lot of nice places to go in New Zealand as her son had recently travelled there and kept pointing out of the window and telling us about things on the journey, making sure we looked backwards when we went over a big bridge at the view of the city.

    ... missed it yesterday and a gentleman that I bumped into walking to the lighthouse had recommended that I go there as you have a 360 view of the whole area. He also recommended the tram tour. The Obelisk was only built as the Seamen complained as there used to be a windmill where the Obelisk is now and they used this as a landmark so they knew that they were heading in the right direction.
