Most of the day was spent in the bus today. We spent the morning traveling from Parma to the sea port of Genoa, home port of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. We reached the city at 13h00 and spent an hour and a half walking around the harbour area.

... The beach wasn't too crowded and we all got some sun, so the day was a success. For sunset, we planned on climbing to the top of this overlook for the best view in the city, but halfway up the security guard was blowing a whistle at us for closing time.
