The high winds last night made our boat rock more than what was comfortable in our Chesapeake Bay exposed marina called Gratitude Marina. We now know why other boaters continued up Swan Creek to Osprey Marina. Osprey seems to be a new owner of Gratitude and the people at Gratitude act like they are the lesser of the two places. They are, Osprey is nicer, but Gratitude patrons can use the Osprey facilities which is a quick bike ride up the road. While we waited ...

Well we have been busy working on the Solar Panels & Arch to fit them, helping get the the new Bimini done (still in progress) and just surviving the heat wave and humidity. It is way hotter and more humid than we are accustomed too. This morning Lee-Anne and I started work installing the remaining 3 solar panels at about 7am. We finished about 9.30am, now they only need to wired up to the grid.

I spent today exploring the grounds and buildings of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, MD.
The grounds have multiple buildings, and my first stop was to the boat yard where craftsmen still actively build and repair wooden boats. They also hold weekend apprentice courses that people can sign up for to assist with a portion of building a new boat. The man working in the building said they often have the same people return ...
... is the second busiest harbor and lots of the GOOD FOLK with the 100footers and more frequent here to shop,spa and enjoy all the fine restaurants and atmosphere.Lots to do here and love the museum so will stay until Tuesday then head towards Oxford.It is always a good feeling to be tied to the dock so you dont have to worry about all the mishaps that can happen on the hook so we will take advantage of shopping,groceries and being tied up.OFF TO ...
