It was so chilling to see what we saw, as the hostel hadn’t provided much of a barrier so that people couldn’t see what was going on. Last night we stayed at the Porcupine Wilderness State Park in Ontonagon, MI. Had a site right on Lake Superior. Arrived just before it stormed. Lots of people camping in tents and there we were sitting in our motor home nice and dry watching a movie and eating popcorn! Too bad for the rain, we were hoping to see the Northern Lights.

... close to 7 miles of beautiful trails with vistas from the bluffs that took our breath away. The trails were well maintained and easy to hike on. The views are of the Mississippi Valley. It was a rejuvenating break from the car ride.
