... I didn't even know. The next day we got the 23 bus to Hanauma bay. It took about 40 minutes and when we got there looking down on the bay was amazing. Weirdly there were chickens walking about the car park. We got in the queue for entry and paid to get in. ... and, thanks to a bit of kayaking experience and a previous go at SUP on Fiona and Michael Pemberton's board at Clifton Beach a few years ago, I was the only one who could stand up straight away and who didn't fall off. In fact, the hardest parts were carrying the very big and very heavy board to the beach (and back again later), and having to start out sitting on your knees - standing up is much easier! Awoke early to a beautiful, sunny morning. Yeah !!!!! No time to waste. With our runners on we walked around the golf course and streets of Princeville. Swim and spa in the main resort pool. We had the pool to ourselves. Spent time at Anini Beach, the Portsea of Kauai. Magnificent homes line the pristine beach.
