... for breakfast. Before 1959, this crater didn't exist. The eruption was higher than the Empire State Building and lasted a number of days. It only became safe to walk on in the 1990s. It is a fairly tough walk with steep ascent/descent and rocky uneven ground. It takes us 2.5 hours to complete, but is totally worth it.
