... heavy in Kona but today it was just a light shower. On arriving at Kauai it was bucketing down. We managed to pick up the hire car between showers. It is really funny it has now fined up on the other side of the island where we are staying. Not sure about the weather though as reception said that there was a thunder storm predicted for this evening. We ...

... most driving instructors would fail you for were needed….we were quickly all halted and told off like a bunch of school kids that are on a school trip, silenced and sorry for what we had done. So we continue (as good children) through jungle scenes and tropical forests, it then seemed to become rough muddy terrain up rocky paths and down steep hill faces until it opened out to a serene landscape and a mountain that looked as if it hunched over the island. The guide ...

Last day on this island. We went for walk down the other side of the island today, and saw in the water turtles and then a monkey seal. By the afternoon it was overcast again so had another lazy day around the pool, on the balcony, and getting our washing up to date. We had room service tonight as early flight tomorrow to Waikiki. Not many photos today as its all pretty much the same ...
