    ... the hotel and decided on stopping by the Maika'i Foodland supermarket to pick up more food for the next few days. But not before taking the time to get shave ice!!! Ahhhyeah!!! I got a small shave ice with guava, mango and lilikoi (passionfruit) flavors topped with condensed milk. Ben got a small with guava, mango and pineapple with condensed milk.     The scenery was awesome - most of the lines had us above the trees. Some where you could actually slap the tree as you flew by. There were a few hikes along the way - all up hill.

    We didn't feel too out of place when the gal from Detroit was a bit scare on the zip line. I think it was the landing that concerned her. She told me that she kept her eyes open during the zip line but closed them when she landed. ...

    ... and we were ready. I was especially happy to learn that our entrance point was an old boat ramp. Easy, right? Um. No.

    Cut to us in waist-deep water, weighed down with dive gear and tanks and weights, trying to put on our fins. It was a hard enough task to balance on one leg on shifty rocks to put on a fin without the pulling and pushing action of 3-4 foot swells. It was impossible.
