... a good thing. We tried nine Belgian beers, from brown to blonde to fruit, and found that Belgium is known for beer for good reason! I might have gained twenty pounds in Bruges... I promise I like this place for more than the food! The vibe in this city is wonderful. There is a bit of a slower pace of life here, the people are really friendly and helpful, and I could hang out here for a long time. Tomorrow we are going south to Luxembourg and then who ...

The crossing was quite smooth much to Serena's relief, of course I had to have my usual fat boy breakfast while she ate my toast, greedy i call that. Missey also survived and seemed none the worst for being left down in the car.
The drive to the camp-site Camping Klein Strand was nice and straight forward for the first journey just 78 miles. We pulled up at reception just a little before 12 noon, greeted with a ...

... with the baby lambs frolicking next to the ewes.  The ride was supposed to be 67km, but owing to a few wrong turns, it was closer to 75km. Yesterday, in Antwerp where I enjoyed our shared Nicoise, the thought did occur to me as I was eating the raw tomato, that I did not know the upshot of the e Coli breakout in Germany. We have not seen nor heard the news for a few days. Luckily, all was well and today on one of our ferry rides across ...
