A travel blog entry by ads1810 on Dec 04, 2012

We arrived in Bruges from Amsterdam by bis and jumped of at the station we then found our way to the hostel and waited for Sean to turn up from London. ... through the cobbles, past many pedestrians who must have been insisting that they were suffering De javu from seeing the same Red Fiat Grande Punto with flatcapped bearded man driving and then turning right 80 yds before where Tom insisted we had to turn. Phew. Nearly there.
"Turn right in 80 yds" Who uses yds for crying out loud?!. "Damnit, was that the turning? That wasn't 80 yds. That was barely 5 yds, It was barely a cobbled track and it had a car reversing ...

... too. It had all of the stereotypical features you'd expect from a castle. It would have been easy to pick me out as the non-European of the group. Everybody else had seen dozens of castles, where as I was running around, wanting to see everything. I also really enjoyed seeing authentic suits of armor and old weaponry. It was so exciting.
My other highlight of the trip ...
