      ... point in the city, is seen as the guardian of the city and is commonly called a bonne mere (the good mother).

      Once we got into town, we took the long route around the harbor, grabbed a couple drinks and headed to the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, referred to as "Mucem".

      We walked a ton and now I'm finishing my night with a glass of wine and a good meal. Sante! (cheers!)

      ... lunch and returned the hotel. We relaxed around the pool until about 5:00 when we walked back downtown for a last bit of sight seeing and shopping. We had a wonderful dinner of Mussels and French Fries followed by specialty coffee and dessert.       We got a train from Barcelona to Marseille. Took 5 hours- felt long because our carriage didn't have any air conditioning. Everyone else went into different carriages but since there were 4 of us & it was going to be too hard moving our suitcases, we just stayed put & ended up having the carriage to ourselves for most of the trip.
