... tonight advertised that it was on the Mississippi River, and it is, except you have to cross a divided highway and traipse through some woods to get to it. I was hoping I could actually touch the river. Oh well, I’ll have to wait until we are in the lower states.

Kind of restful, but boring day

A test of patience
... dinner and some really great homemade blueberry peach pie with Dairy Queen ice cream. It was a great evening and although it was a short visit it was still a great time. It's always great to spend time with family and catch up. Minnesota is a beautiful place until it gets cold then it's time to leave.
We may not get out of here until thursday so we will just enjoy the area of Winona on Wednesday and see what happens.
