... to eat and drink so we stopped at The Plough for lunch. We sat in their patio area near the bikes and ate a very hearty, tasty Cottage Pie each. They closed at 2pm so we only just made it! Kim, the landlady put a generous donation in Chris's BHF pot.
From there we found our way to Route 20 which took us through Tilgate Forest Golf Course. Somehow we managed to miss the path, not difficult as it was crisscrossed with paths and no signs. We ...

... their computer system actually included photos of existing damage so eventually they decided it was pre -existing☺

Had a simple dinner (and lovely blueberry drink!)at the airport and then the long flight to Singapore.. But this time no screaming kids and some spare seats so managed a reasonable amount of sleep. All in all quite ok ...

... like walking through the scene of Robin Hood, with cobblestones and portcullis' and all. The Crown Jewels were amazing and the effort and detail that goes into a crown that is worn once is immaculate.

The display of The different kings and their armour was amazing; I've never seen so much armour! All the weapons and breastplates lined the walls.

... s sleep and got out of bed around 9am Karen and Mick are vegetarian so we had a delicious fry up for brunch with quorn sausages. Most of the dsy we sat around in our pajamas and talked. It was so lovely to spend time with the family and I felt really sad saying goodbye to them. Little Maisy, their granddaughter is a wee honey and we had a few games of hide and seek before she exhausted me.
