August 21 Thursday Exeter - Stonehenge - London Another good night departing at 8 am to an 11deg cloudy morning. We are all packed ready to be unloaded for our tube trip to Islington when we arrive. The Red Arrow flying team stayed at the hotel last night - we finally get the eye candy and time to go! After a busy time in London we traveled to Horsham located in the picturesque county of Sussex for our final house and pet sit in England where we enjoyed our most unique house to date and to care for a very independent cat named Georgie. The house was the actual gate house entrance to a very unique park called Warnham Park where Red Deer are raised and are internationally recognized for their their remarkable antlers. Saturday dawned as another sunny day so Simon headed for a run around the reserve / common that Jane lived near.
We ( and Max ) headed out to Worthing, a town by the sea south of Brighton, to have a look at a house that Jane had had an offer on the house accepted. She, is understandably excited but the English system for buying houses seems very slow and seems to take forever.

... roof was finished and so I set to, scrubbing, de-moulding, rubbish, clearing and spider removing (ugh!) I found a great product though on Amazon - spider smoke bombs! - just light the fuse - shut the doors (stay in garden in case neighbours think shed is on fire and call 999!) and then an hour or so later ventilate shed and all you have are ex-spiders - hurrah!
