... to camp until 2200 hours- way past our bedtime....... nope we didn't see the momma grizzly nor her cubs.

Tomorrow is get away day. We are traveling 250 miles to Tok first on the Ric******* Highway (#4), then the Tok Cutoff (#1). We will then travel the Alaska Highway towards Whitehorse, YT, then about 25 minutes this side of Watson Lake we will turn south on the Cassiar Highway (#37). The Cassiar will be the main route towards the States.

... 8230; While we were there watching the glaciers move down the valley… We noticed several people who were unloading Kayaks and putting on wet suits to head down the creek and I assume to the river… I didn’t have time to ask how far they could Kayak down the water way but from the looks of the preparation it was going to be 3-5 hour trip…

... bands play.  Sunday after our trip to the hatchery we went into town to see the grand parade, it was a cute little parade.  We enjoyed watching the kids chase the candy that was thrown from the floats.  Then it was off to the boat races.  The boats are made from cardboard and duct tape only.  They must float long enough to be paddled the length of the course without coming ...
