    ... including peanut butter & new swimmers for me & the kids! (Ngaire had brought the Vegemite!).
    Our final day on Hvar was enjoyed with Mel & we went back to the Paklenki islands where we spent the day at a beach club with a kids play area, restaurant & daybeds perched on the rocks. Pretty indulgent for a Friday!
    We leave Hvar healthy, tanned & looking forward to exploring Dubrovnik, Rome & meeting up with Melissa again ...

    ... I would fit in. I doubtfully said ok and literally walked onto a million dollar yacht. I headed straight to the bar and ordered a vodka and cranberry.     ... all you adventure thrill seekers out there who enjoy death defying extreme sports...then the drive along the length of Hvar from Sucuraj to Milna is the thing for you! The road is a mere goat track - two cars wide at various points, with sheer drops both sides, but mostly the passenger side, in excess of 10 metres with no barricades or shoulder of any kind.     ... and did some quick shopping for lavender products and Croatian bike shirts. Then down to the seaside town of Stari Grad where we had lunch. That was enough for me but the others continued with an afternoon ride past Jelsa, climbed past Poljica, then to Velika Stiniva and enjoyed a swim.

    ... cost 300.00 Kuna per person to take us across and unfortunately the tourist information centre was not so helpful either.
