    ... at the sunset. The whole way round the guys were sizing up the hotels (which were no doubt worth hundreds a night) with every intention of choosing one and staying on the mainland for the night. They are such private school boys and really had no idea. At the famed bar we grabbed a few drinks and managed to snaffle some sun loungers which was perfect to settle into to watch the amazing sunset. Perfect.

    ... on the other side of the island) and hired two little boats with two very, very little engines. We would have been better all paddling with our arms out the side. But we travelled in convoy and found some beautiful quiet bays. The second of which was stunning with azure water and a lovely old house on it’s own in the middle of nowhere.     ... we climbed back on our trusty steed and headed inland, towards the town of Stari Gard. The town was a nice change from it’s stunning and lavish sister - a quieter affair without tourists crushing each other along the stone paths. The town itself is on a horse-shoe shaped bay, with the old quarter on one side. We found our way to a family-run little restaurant with old wooden tables down a wide cobble-stone alley.
