... that previous sailing weeks, there had been big queues to get into the marina with lots of agro from other skippers and boats almost crashing so we were kind of expecting a bit of an annoying day, but when we arrived a couple of hours later the marina was pretty much empty! The difference a week makes to take us out of high season! End result was that we were parked in Parmizana Marina around lunch time with the day to ourselves.

... place in the country (2724 sunny hours each year) and one of the most popular tourist destinations. Hvar town, the islands capital, is where we would rest our head. What a place! As soon as you step off the catamaran onto the harbour you are immersed in a different world. Elegant restaurants, trendy bars and a row of posh, expensive boats fill your view. There is a general sense that if you care about being seen, this is the place to be. Some of the boats had Vespa's on the ...

... spoken here. We had over 3 hours to wander around Zagreb and there were some lovely buildings and parks. The bus took 5 hours through ever changing scenery whilst playing lively Croatian music. We arrived in Split at 6pm. It is a lively city on the sea. Our hotel was hard to find, it is the oldest hotel in Spit and lies within the old ...

... trip, this trip was a combination of sailing time and stops, although at this point I'm not sure how many stops we had, but I think it was 3. As previously, the scenery was beautiful - clear but water, gorgeous hills and cliffs just rolling into the water, sunny skies.
Our first stop of the day was the green cave. For this we had to jump of the boat and swim into the cave as the boat wasn't able to enter the cave. ...

... of dingy whispering the difference in its behavior is incredible. She is a master!!!

Vrbroska is a small fishing village with a canal through it. It is known as the Croatian little Venice and is very romantic. We stayed in the Marina and had dinner on the roof terrace of the restaurant. While Sophie, looking beautiful in the Vrbroska moonlight tries to crack on to the waiter by getting him to teach her Croatian. Romance is everywhere!!!!.
