      Hévis is a funny old place. First night in, we just went out for a wander and discovered that there is the world's biggest thermal peat lake in Hévis. Apparently it is a miracle cure for all sorts of ailments. So the place is set up for, and crawling with, geriatrics who wander the streets with bathing rings wearing terry-towelling robes. Its very disturbing! Jo has been joking that we've stepped into a real-life version of the movie ...

Being one of the earliest camps setup, it was full of harrowing stories during its various phases during the war and also after the war when the soviets used it for similar purposes.
