... antipasti on the bar which you could help yourself to as well. I was liking this place. Now it was after 8pm and a very respectable italian time to go to dinner. Another recommendation by Paola - Gigi - the food was average but I think it was more about our choice than the overall quality of the place. ... drive, it was again raining lightly. We only took an hours parking close to Piazza dei Miracoli which is beautiful but filled with tourists all taking shots holding up the leaning tower. The trains were noticeably rumbling overnight so it was surprising to wake to a clear morning. The plan was to catch the train to Levante to check it out. On arrival the markets were in full swing and Maggie scored two cheap linen shirts. We bought some fruit, the first figs we paid for, and mushrooms for dinner and some fried seafood treats because the latter smelt, and tasted so good. ... a road for cars, one for bikes and one for pedestrians. It is well serviced like that, and there are men in suits riding bikes and women in high heals and many kids. Not a helmet to be seen.
