Livorno, Italy
We woke up this morning and found ourselves in Livorno, Italy, the port city for Florence. It was amazing how smoothly the ship sailed overnight. I never even realized we were moving, nor did I feel any vibration as the ship docked. Pretty impressive!

A Town Within the Ramparts
... good' place for lunch, but we discovered that they only served complete four course meals, and we weren't up for that, so we continued wandering, finding Guinigi's Tower, 227 steps up a shrinking stairway lined with historic drawings (in Italian, so we are clueless as to what events were represented). We made it up without looking down, and discovered a garden on the top, along with pretty views of the city.
