... pictures of everything that we saw. If only the lens could capture these moments the way my eyes saw them, that I might share this memory with others more accurately. Unfortunately there are some things in life that cannot be reproduced; a picture is worth a thousand words but a memory is priceless.
The day had passed so quickly and soon the park would close and we would have to leave our little piece of paradise. I don’t believe in Heaven on ...
... on this one as it looked ming) we decline and hang out at the side of the road for a while. Eventually we pitched up at the waterfalls which were quite cool. Not the biggest but the lava formations were good and some very pretty views of osorno. So having fulfilled our objective of looking at osorno we left puerto varas and flew up to the atacama desert... ps: we are now almost famous. we were the first ever scottish people to stay at that b&b and he took our picture.aw.
puerto varas, Chile chickpealarry... Building, which was built to look like a giant cell phone and is now outdated for today's cell phones, has blocked the otherwise unobstructed view of the Andes. We finished another wonderful day with a wonderful meal (Mom and Dad, this was the place ...
Puerto Varas, Patagonia, Chile benandlindsey... walk around a tiny town called Puerto Eden inside of O'Higgins National Park that had no roads whatsoever... just wooden walkways between everywhere.. literally, you can't reach the town without a boat... they have received quite a bit of help from the government in recent years, so they finally have a new school, electricity, phone shacks, and internet! all in all, the last four days have been pretty cool.

Puerto Montt, Lake District, Chile mariaandeva... shrouded in mist and cloud so we couldn´t see a thing! We had a burger and a nice hot drink to chase away the cold (it was freezing) and waited to see if the cloud would disperse - it didn´t. Paulo told us that the weather was improving and that later on the sun would be shining and we would see the volcano. We took the bus back down into the valley and drove off to another place of natural beauty, a set of river rapids nestled in the ...
Peurto Varas, Chile stevebecks... up the rear.... And what a rear I must say.....firm, yet nimble...what??? Dolphins followed the ship out of the harbor, and otters and sea lions kept us company for pretty much the entire trip. On the second day a pod of over 100 dolphins charged the boat from about 500 metres away.. Unfortunately the keen American photographer, who had set up camp on the upper deck waiting for the money shot with his satellite sized camera, had let his guard ...
Puerto Montt, Lake District, Chile rsaville... with the giant leaves of the gunnera plant lining the roads, interspersed with bushes of pretty red fuschia flowers. It certainly felt different. We stopped the night in a lakeside town called Puerto Varas, which has a large snow-capped volcano silently guarding the other side of the water. The smoke from eight nearby forest fires lent a very rosy light to ...
