Tuesday, July 25

We traveled through the rest of South Dakota and made it into Ames Iowa last night. This morning we have traveled to Des Moines and then into Fairfield which is a cute little town in South central Iowa and also happens to be the home of one of our dearest friends, Sally Denny.

Sally was a member of my choir during the short time we where in Hickory, North Carolina and she was a member of the Scotland tour choir this past June. ...

... he weighs only a pound. The rest of the day was pretty good until I got word that one of our riders didn't stop at the meeting spot outside of town and continued on into Lincoln. He got pulled over by a cop too and unfortunately it was not the first time he didn't listen to safety matters. Tomorrow is the big day. I am sitting at my dining room table right now with all the things that are going to keep me comfortable, clothed, healthy (hopefully), and connected. Oh, and the things that are going to let me listen to music too. Because that is, of course, important.

The bag of gatorade packets, immodium, and antibiotic make me a little nervous. I guess what happens happens. It won't keep me from trying the foods, for sure. I am looking forward to experiencing a life ...
