First weekend off
... possibly homeless bloke. LOts of people lie on the floor at night and they really spook you when you dont notice them and they suddenly jump up out of nowhere.
Then there was a tremor or minor earthquake this morning apparently. All the beds moved and the lights swung and things fell over for a few minutes. I was so drunk that I slept through it though. I think I was still drunk until about 11am this morning.

Day 16
... river off the boat a couple times. We had water wars with the other rafters. There were probably 12-15 other rafts on the river but we were staggered for the most part. At the end of each rapid we high-fived with our paddles and said "Pura Vida." Costa Rica is amazing and I'm so fortunate to be given this wonderful opportunity.
We stopped a little over the halfway point and ate lunch on the river. There was a separate raft just for food and our tour guides ...
A good Person to Meet
... English. His accent was heavy and though it was at times challenging to figure out what he was saying, he was an interesting guy and we enjoyed talking to him.

P.S. Just heard the snow report. The weather has been the same since I've been here: beautiful mornings with increasing humidity, then breakthrough rain in the pm that cools us down. I think it's been hovering in the 70's and 80's although the humidity makes it feel hotter. Que ...
