... if there's a tree involved (my fav being the Moreton Bay Fig) & these trees are magnificent. I enjoyed the quiet reflection time of this magical place & left feeling very peaceful & centered again.

So onward we go to La La Land, half way thru now & getting into the rhythm of being a tourist.

    Much love, Sammy xxx

... knew that if you were going to take the mickey out of one of them, you could expect to have it pulled out of you right back. It was so much fun and having to say goodbye to them made the morning even suckier.

... Yerba Buena. Which led me to comment that it was fortunate for the local sporting franchises that the city changed its name because they would never have sold as many sports shirts with names like The Yerba Buena 49ers, or the Yerba Buena Giants or even the Yerba Buena Raiders. ... As we pedalled along the cost rode to the Golden Gate Bridge we heard a cat squealing behind us. It was being strangled. We heard it again. I looked around but saw nothing, very odd. Next thing I heard Daffy Duck. I turned again and saw this dude in his 50's cycling along making these noises with his mouth. He was wearing a Loony Tunes "That's all folks" cycling jersey. I just guessed he was the guy who does all the voices and was showing ...
