    ... from Big Sur – a whole pod of humpback whales were in a small cove by the side of the road. There must have been about 20 but maybe more – spouts of water were going up everywhere, and they often surfaced enough to see the faces. They were putting on quite a show, and we even saw one jump out of the water like you see in the films. That was awesome.
