Tuesday we rode back to Newport on Flowery Trail Road. My GPS estimated the drive to take 2 hours and 5 minutes. We made it in under an hour and twenty despite driving through a snowstorm as we went over the pass. The drive was flat out awesome. I love that road. For the morning I shadowed Dr. Lewis. 6 days and 2012 miles later and we have finally arrived. Through rain, hail, wind, snow and lots of wind. Through fields, up and down mountains, and across the desert. Hot engines and cold nights.
