9:30 - on the road. Quality Inn, Richmond, KY very nice place to stay. Didn't sleep well at all last night - damn. Sunny day but there was frost in the windshield - 33F. Berea, Marathon Gas. 186.9/gal.!!!! 11:00 - Tennessee - only 37F and windy. But the "hills of Tennessee" are beautiful. It will be prettier in April when things will be greening up. ...

... or Pup Corn (a doggie treat that tastes like peanut butter or cheese). We put one of each on the floor…the Pup Corn won! I was wrong. I thought he would go for the pop corn first. You never know.

As typical with most secondary market airports, the phrase "we can't get there from here" comes to mind describing air travel. Truth be told, unless you live in a hub for a major airport, everyone connects somewhere. The sad truth since 9-11-2001 is that the flights have been greatly reduced and never really recovered so it's not unusual to have more than one stop on the way to your domestic destination, much less international.
