    Well folks, we really did make it home. Our flight left Frankfurt pretty much on time and we settled in for a 7+ hour plane ride to Philadelphia.     5:14 pm welcome to the south! We were supposed to be in Raleigh by 2 pm....the rain caused a bunch of accidents on I-95 and the going has been slooooooooow (that's a lot of dr Laura). JP says that this was a really tough day of driving. I didn't notice....I was busy washing my hair. But, it is easy to immerse yourself in culture more than the average tourist when you are on a study abroad and when you have a good travel company to work with...and I have the best! We will be traveling with Thai guides, staying in locally owned small guest houses and hotels that really have some local color, and we will get off the beaten path too. We will be in many areas that are not big tourist destinations...more on those later.
