      Well folks, we really did make it home. Our flight left Frankfurt pretty much on time and we settled in for a 7+ hour plane ride to Philadelphia. I didn't really sleep but we had tv shows to watch that Taylor downloaded onto my iPad. Our second leg was a short (35 min) flight into Richmond.       ... rocks ! Note: later on I discovered that if I hang out the truck window and rinse with just a little bit of water it works even better. Anyway, we haven't stopped since JP's nap so we hit up a ****** gas station in Dinwiddie VA for some snacks (the place smelled like Chinese food). Trail mix for him. Check mix for her. But, it is easy to immerse yourself in culture more than the average tourist when you are on a study abroad and when you have a good travel company to work with...and I have the best! We will be traveling with Thai guides, staying in locally owned small guest houses and hotels that really have some local color, and we will get off the beaten path too.
