viaggio da Queenstown a Wanaka si svolge attraverso scenari
meravigliosi e mozzafiato. Abbiamo "circumguidato" una serie di laghi
alpini e adesso ci dirigiamo alla volta di wanaka. Tardiamo piu' del
previsto come al solito, perche' ci sono troppe cose imperdibilie sulla
strada per cui arriviamo a wanaka che e' quasi notte, troviamo posto
per dormire in un alberghetto un po' caro ma di alto livello ...

The next day our main objective was to hike to Harwood's Hole in the Abel Tasman National Park, which is the deepest vertical hole in the Southern hemisphere at 357 meters! That's really deep.
That's 1,071 feet - so for those of you who knew where we lived in Chicago, in The New York building, 50-some stories high - this HOLE was TWICE THAT!!! There were signs everywhere about not taking ...

Plavba to byla prijemna, cestou jsme se staveli na nekolika zajimavych mistech a potom nas taxik vysadil na plazi Big Tonga a odtud uz jsme museli pekne po svych az do zalivu Torrent Bay. Nebyl to zadny med, obcas jsme se plazili do kopce s jazyky na veste, ale byla tu nadherna priroda - lesy, palmy, zatoky s tyrkysovou vodou a plaze se zlatym piskem, proste romantika. :-)
