So on to Legget where we caught highway 1 to the coast. Beautiful drive, but not for the faint of heart or people who get car sick. We were told there are 489 turns that are done in the 1 hour drive.

This morning, we took the kids down to the beach to build some sandcastle a with only a couple of hippies doing some whittling for company. The whole place has a very laid back vibe about it, although weirdly lacks the customary Californian hospitality. It might have something to do with the Mendocino Music Festival that is going ...

He had even pruned the bougainvillea! We got the car unpacked and a lot of stuff put away but have lots more to do tomorrow. Did a quick grocery run for basics and are now settled in watching the hockey game - (I even turned down an invitation to play cards with a few girls tonight)- so it ...
