Leaving the slum, then to Caspar (camping)

I've never been so happy to leave a hotel. This place was a DUMP.

We stopped by Point Reyes national park for some (more) good views, but mostly just enjoyed the scenery along route 1.

The dogs are doing well, as is the camper. We're happy Caspar is getting the help he needs, but sad to see him go.

We found a neat campsite with a beautiful ocean view (Caspar beach rv park), and settled for the night. Campfire w/ BBQ and beer. Life is good.

... so we headed back for an early lunch. Ashton and I lay down to catch up some sleep while Conrad and the other kids watched a movie. Everyone felt much improved so we headed back down to shell beach.

... to blow any out. Part of the joys of having kids right?! I don't remember the last present I got to open on my own or birthday candle I blew out........

Sea Ranch used to be a ranch but in 1964 was developed, it is a small community on the Sonoma coast and all the houses have been designed to blend in with surrounding landscape, there are many access points to the beach and a small town eight miles from where the Thornhill's house is.

... only almost killed us twice. Once when Suzanne was asleep so don't anyone tell her. Today will be our last day driving around the coast, we head inland a bit. For those concerned we missed the quake in napa valley But only because we had not gotten there yet. We were due to visit it yesterday but decided to skip...for some funny reason.
