So on to Legget where we caught highway 1 to the coast. Beautiful drive, but not for the faint of heart or people who get car sick. We were told there are 489 turns that are done in the 1 hour drive.
Emerged to the coast with spectacular views, but still some curvy roads. Happened upon a winery, so of course we had to stop. The most fantastic views of the ocean and good wines as well. ...

... as John (the fellow we hired to look after the place and get it ready for us) had done a great job. The house was nice and clean as well as the yard and lawn furniture. He had even pruned the bougainvillea! We got the car unpacked and a lot of stuff put away but have lots more to do tomorrow. Did a quick grocery run for basics and are now settled in watching the hockey game - (I even turned down an invitation to play cards with a few girls tonight)- so it ...
