... Africa, but how awesome is that. I love the ocean. It brings me to peace. I've been living in the City that never sleeps for almost 11 months and it is amazing to just hear the waves crash, birds singing, wind blowing and silence, instead of constant sirens, honking, people screaming and talking and just the City. I've been in a very bad place lately though. I worry about my future, my life back home, what country I am going to visit next etc. ...

... to have someone from another country come and stay. We showed her around our area, gave her advice on where and what she should see and had a great time.

Judy comes from Connecticut, and of course it was a must that we catch up with her on this visit.

At the time of her visit, Judy was working at a different kind of Grocery Store called "Stew Leonards". She aptly described the store as the "Disney Land of Grocery Stores".

... drive to Mystic after our marathon effort yesterday. Our accommodation at The Whalers Inn is a large upstairs front room complete with 4 poster bed in an old sea captains house overlooking the street. The nice lady at the reception desk sold us tickets to the Old Mystic Seaport at a reduced rate. Fortunately we wanted to go there anyway.

Our main interest was the wooden boat restoration works there and as luck would have it the replica of the Mayflower ...

... over to the UK to play football. At Montauk station we jumped in a cab to take us to the nearest supermarket to top up on some supplies. What a rip off that was at $5 a person for literally a 2 min ride. Apparently that was the going rate for whatever distance you travelled.
