... And who would play me in the sequels to 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' and 'The Bible' and 'Ben Hur'. Yul Bryner, no he's dead, Telly Savalas, not sure if he's alive but I don't like Chuppa Chups. Maybe Peter Garrett but he'd have to bend down a lot. ... over to the UK to play football. At Montauk station we jumped in a cab to take us to the nearest supermarket to top up on some supplies. What a rip off that was at $5 a person for literally a 2 min ride. Apparently that was the going rate for whatever distance you travelled.

I continued along the Connecticut coast on minor roads as close to the beaches as possible on the busy Memorial Day start to the summer. The season was just beginning in the nice beach and harbor towns along the way. I made a short stop in Mystic but didn't go to Mystic Seaport Museum this time since it was already late in the day.
