It was muggy when we got up in Meadville this morning. Like, really muggy. Like, 80 degrees, look at the mist, oh, my God I'm sweating like a pig already muggy. Needless to say, we were ready to get on the road (and get the A/C cranked up) as soon as possible. We hitched up and headed out by 8 AM. Drove down from Grand Rapids to Gun Lake. Moved into Jim and Jean's cottage at the Lake, in her family forever. Perfect place to recover from jet lag/persistent cough, and get WARM. Met Schmidts at the Casino for a nice dinner, played a little Blackjack (I won $20). Met the usual gang for golf on Wednesday at Thornapple Point, Jane had ...

I deposited the bag quickly, then dashed back into the side door and closed it behind me. Mike then made the milk purchase, and joined the bag-runner and unseen driver in the van. Then we pulled away. I don't think the cashier knew if she should laugh or call the police!

... a good show this morning. We played Chenery Auditorium, which was a beautiful space. Sadly, it was undergoing renovations, so the actors didn't have real dressing rooms, but it is going to be a great place to play in a couple of months.

Now we're headed West again, and into Central time for 2 more shows before heading South again :)
