We were invited to a chili cook-out at one of the cabins and pressed to give an informal presentation of our 2010/11 adventure. There would be three presentations at the evening gathering in the tent, and Terry had invited us to give one of them based on our two crossings of the North Atlantic, which for some reason seemed to be of interest!

... very kindly drove us all to the Lodge to check-in, back to the apron to pick up our gear and then to the cabin we had arranged to share with Vernon and Martin (scheduled to arrive on Friday). Ron had driven to RR with his very smart trailer and was happy to show us its well thought-out and spacious accommodation, just in case we were considering one for the future (perhaps!).

Mostly a travel day today ending in Owensboro, KY Lots of time in the car but with good company.... And an onboard DVD player the drive was a pleasant one. Tomorrow we get deeper into the South and our days get busier for awhile.
