... sights, including the pancake rocks! You probably wouldn't guess it, but they are huge rocks in the sea naturally shaped like piles of pancakes ;-) very cool! There isn't much to do in Greymouth itself, which was good since we hadn't slept a whole lot... ;-) that evening, Gezusterd and I went to the famous Monteith beer brewery to taste some tasty brews =) our bus driver told us we would get about three beers and then a burger meal so we didn't really expect too much from ...

... in Shanghai (zo zie je maar, je bent echt nooit alleen). Met hen een paar leuke dagen gehad, waarbij we vooral veel gechilld hebben (daar is dit eiland ook echt perfect voor, overal hangmatten en reggae muziek). Veel meer kon je ook niet doen, want hallelujah wat is het hier heet. Vooral de luchtvochtigheid is erg hoog, je zweet je echt te pletter. Een dagje nog wel een kayaktocht gedaan, waarbij we wat watervallen en de Ayerwaddy dolfijnen gezien hebben!

... It's been a whirlwind day I must say and I can't believe how amazing the festival had been and most of it free or exceedingly cheap!

... made me smile have been a group who want to ‘Green the rubble’ by having urban planting sessions and another group who name themselves GapFillers. This little army looks like they are using the empty plots to add things for the community – the one which we saw was a little fridge filled with books providing a book exchange of sorts.
