    We started today with chats with our camp neighbors. They gave us some great info on roads to take and wished us well. Today we leave Vermont on our quest for Maine lobster.
    The state is beautiful. The farms are sprawling and mixed with lots of lakes and rivers. I hope we continue to see more covered bridges.

    ... inclines, our little Nissan Versa did well to get us up to Cathedral Ledge in the Echo Lake State Park. Watching the sheet of rain come our direction was unlike anything we'd ever seen. Thankfully, we were equipped for the elements, and slapped on our rain jackets.     We'll, we aren't in Maine anymore. Today was all about travel. Our plan was to drive a few hours to Skowhegan, Maine, but we were there by lunch time so we just kept going.     ... was situated in a museum. It was of course closed for the season (there's a lot of that going on here) so we carrried on and fortunately happened upon another one and then another one which was an old railway bridge, the last still in regular use in Vermont.
