From Ithaca we decided to take the scenic byway 89 heading north. This follows along the Cayuga Lake, which has many wineries off of 89 in the area. ... The festival was basically a couple blocks of vendors selling food, wine, ciders, and crafts. We wondered around for a while checking out all the different stands. We did some wine and hard cider tastings at some of the stands and then continued on to check out the crafts that were being sold. We didn't find anything we thought we had to have so we finished checking everything out and headed back to the RV to continue on our way.

Some things I already knew about America but had forgotten:
- National pride extends to the Stars and Stripes flying in practically every front yard and outside of every store
- Walmart is bogan Mecca
- Cheese in a can and grits as foodstuffs = wrong, wrong, wrong
- Getting ID'ed when buying booze is not a compliment, it's the law

Drove from NYC through New Jersey, Pennsylvania and back into New York State, up to the Finger Lakes region for ...

... tøj på byens vaskeri. Det blev både vasket og tørertumplet, så det blev til en wopper (Burger King) mens vi ventede. Mor og Mia købte også ind til morgenmad mens jeg passede på et ingen løb med vores tøj :-)

Dagen efter blev lidt af formiddagen brugt på computeren. Vi havde endelig internet access igen - hurra. Vi var også nede og se The Glen (kløften) der ender midt inde i byen. Igen flot med vandfald osv. Igen utroligt ...
