    After a stroll along the wide promenade overlooking the River Mersey and Liverpool we called in at The Magazine Hotel which is one of the oldest pubs on the Wirral with its building dating back to 1759.     ... Cilla Black but last night at the restaurant at our hotel we had a lovely young lady, Abbie, as our waitress. She had a delightful accent but we could not understand a lot of what she was saying so Chris had to ask her to repeat herself on several occasions. She took it all with good humour and said she couldn’t work out if we were New Zealanders of Australians because we all sound alike. We told her that we were Tasmanians - a different breed altogether.
