... we were trying to find a parking space, and only ones were about 1/3 mile away on a hillside! I took Suzie to the boat loading area with our stuff and planned to go park the car and walk back, but finally realized that when the next ferry pulled in people would be vacating spots, so hung around and with the help of a nice man there he and Suzie held a spot while I brought the car to it. Surprising, but perfectly, we took it easy the first night on the cruise. We have been "free" since quitting our jobs and leaving Seattle but there was still a lot of little things to do. Being on the ship I feel another step of freedom. Plus, it's our honeymoon and we have been waiting a long time for this!
