The plane ride to Orlando, Florida was supposed to be 3 hours, but before we were going to land a storm started and we had to keep circling around the airport, but we almost ran out of gas so we had to go to a different airport to refuel. Today is our third day in the Villages (second full day) but when the weather is fine I want to be out and about. It is also our third St. Patrick's Day in the Villages. Unfortunately today it is raining - good for catching up on indoor stuff - with severe thunder storms, up to 25 m.p.h. winds and threat of tornadoes. I did not know that Florida is #2 in the States for tornadoes! Sadly the St. Patrick's Day activities to be held in ...

She finally got it up on her 4th attempt and we carried onto the next hole. As ...

When we got to our Grandparents house, we put our luggage away in our room and started to settle in. After dinner, we gave them presents which were 5 bags of Cherry Ripe, 2 bags of Tim Tams, an Australia hat, a Ken Duncan photo book and some clothes.
The next few days were fun because we got to go swimming 3-6 times and made a wooden loon which is a type of bird, and I will tell you how I made it.

      Firstly, we went to ...

We awake on our final full day in Florida. We are slow to get going today and we plan on taking it easy as yesterday was a long old day.

After breakfast we head to Seaworld's water park called Aquatica. It was not overly busy and we soon found a spot on the man made beach in front of Big Surf Shores which is one of 2 giant wave making pools. We sunbathe for a little while and then cool off on ...
