We had a great time in Champaign. I got to play pickleball twice and really enjoyed getting back on the court. I do miss playing! Our campground was very nice and the owners are very helpful. The campground is surrounded by cornfields with a small lake in the middle. I did fish one day but caught ZERO:((

The University of Illinois is located in Champaign. It is a very nice campus and the grass and plants were so green. ...

... a class at the YMCA. This is the nicest YMCA we have ever seen and was loaded with people and families!!
We have been on the road 3 weeks today and are looking forward to moving on to Starved Rock State Park and getting some hiking in.

Once I got close I turned to the south and crossed Washington, Madison, Monroe and Adams to get to Jackson Boulevard where 66 ends and was its original start point before it was turned into a one way street.
