June 14th, 2015 at 10:00am, a time I've been planning and dreaming about for over a year; this is when we set sail on our two month Great American Road Trip. ... stop signs; we went five streets without seeing one, not just the street we were driving but the side streets as well. Besides these oddities there lies another: Midwestern reserve. The site itself is 7 miles from nowhere outside of Royal, Nebraska, and as flat and straight as the drive in had been; it became the rockies as we wound upwards to Ash Fall Fossil Beds.
