    We travelled by Amtrak train to Penn Station and then Yellow Cab to Brooklyn, $50 including tip which is not too bad considering the driver happily stopped to let us photograph Ground Zero. Cabbies in NYC seem to have a complete set of rules of their own and it mostly involves lane hopping as they please with or without indicators. Our first day in NYC was Tuesday and not surprisingly we got lost on the Metro looking for Broadway station to transfer to an Eastside train. Guess what ...
