... about 200 kms shy of Missoula, having spent about 7 hours in Idaho. Just south of Missoula I see a shack advertising BBQ and there is a mo'tel behind it and a Exxon beside it, the TriFecta!

Naturally I keep riding! But today I am going to allow myself to break my own rules about turning around and going back. It takes me about 5 miles of negotiating with myself before I convince myself. Lets just say an expert negotiator was needed to deal with an ...

Beside the stairwell was a door; women weren't allowed in the bar or common areas, which was a bit perturbing since the owner's wife and children were women. I need to download some software to combine the 120 odd images I took at this location to make the star trail image, which I haven't done yet. The 'funny' story behind this group of shots is that Carol and I were out in the middle of no where, in the dark. We were out on a board walk that led out to a small lake in a meadow. All around us were hills / mountains. ...

After an early start, we drove down the eastern side of Glacier to see the last lodge called East Glacier. All the lodges are over 100 years old and magnificent. This one had a golf course and swimming pool. Beautifully landscaped.

As we were leaving the park, I received a text from Beth and their party had come out of the wilderness a day early and were driving down the ...
